Detailed Description | ||||
Following the success of Mark's work on the Com Hem project, he returned to work for Deloitte on a project for a couple of local councils (Uppsala and Knivsta). Mark was employed as the sole Siebel expert and was therefore responsible for the design and build of this solution. The requirement was to develop a system that would manage applications for care of the elderly and less abled, and to manage the services provided by the care organisations, both government and privately owned. This involved the use of the Case Management module to process claims, and the use of the Order Management module in preparing Quotes, Agreements, Orders and Invoices. Since all the documentation was in Swedish, Mark worked closely with the Deloitte team to translate the requirements into solutions and ensure the final application met the needs of the customer. Mark was also responsible for training and mentoring a few of the junior members at Deloitte to ensure they could continue to support and modify the application after Mark left the project. Mark's Import/Export spreadsheet (see the Import/Export page for details) had long been used by Deloitte as the primary tool for deploying reference data in all their Siebel solutions, and this continued for this project. |
