Detailed Description | ||||
Mark was initially employed as an Integration Consultant to work on a number of interfaces. These included a number of Workflows exposed as Web Services (Inbound and Outbound), embedding an external Java application using Siebel's Portal Framework and incorporating an external CTI application using COM. Given Mark's years of experience and knowledge of Siebel he quickly adopted the role of technical lead, being responsible for many of the design decisions for the data model, interfaces and general application, as well as mentoring and advising many of the other team members. He was involved in many of the early discussions with the client to establish their requirements and translate these into the eventual design. Mark's Import/Export spreadsheet (see the Import/Export page for details) had long been used by Deloitte as the primary tool for deploying reference data in all their Siebel solutions, and this continued for this project. |
